Some people seek a natural remedy for arthritis for a variety of reasons including the cost of prescriptions, concern about side affects and drug interaction with other medications or just don't believe in using chemicals to help their body heal. Several different herbs and extracts are available that work as a natural remedy for arthritis. Devil's Claw, grown in the Kalahari Desert has extreme anti-inflammatory properties and is used as a natural remedy for arthritis. It has shown effectiveness again osteo-arthritis, rheumatism as well as small joint pain and pains in the lower back.

This plant is unique to Africa and is also known as Harpagophytum Procumbens and is not recommended for people with ulcers or heart problems without medical supervision. Some scientific studies have indicated it as a stimulant to the lymphatic system increasing its disease resistance in addition to its being a natural remedy for arthritis. Glucosamine is found in high concentrations in the joints, and this simple substance's purpose is to repair cartilage, keeping the joints moving freely. Glucosamine sulfate has been approved in 70 countries for the treatment of arthritis and has been shown to help the body repair damaged joints. It is widely used in many countries as a natural remedy for arthritis.

Another natural remedy for arthritis is boswellia serata, an extract of a gum tree found in India. It had been used for centuries in the relief of inflammation and joint pain. It has been shown to reduce pain without the threat of inducing stomach ulcers. One product on the market today, JointEase Plus contains all three of these natural ingredients and claims to be a natural remedy for arthritis. It claims it can help restore tissue and joints to allow better, and less painful mobility.

Some other items deemed a natural remedy for arthritis are chrondroitin which helps draw fluids into cartilage helping them better absorb the shock of movement. Fish oils as well as oils from flax, sunflower and pumpkin seeds have also been used as a natural remedy for arthritis. Some food allergies such as wheat, dairy, tomatoes and others have been linked to cause arthritis. The results are still under study as to how the use of magnets can help reduce the pain of arthritis. Some suggested remedies should be avoided such as bee or snake venom as there is the real opportunity for an allergic reaction to something that has no scientific backing to relieving arthritis pain.

Many people are surprised to learn that arthritis is not just one disease - it's actually a group of over a hundred related conditions, all involving stiffness or pain in the body's joints. (...)

Many people are surprised to learn that arthritis is not just one disease - it's actually a group of over a hundred related conditions, all involving stiffness or pain in the body's joints. And although we have a greater chance of suffering from arthritis as we get older, and the general perception is that it just affects old people - around 60% of people with arthritis are under 65.

The two most common forms of arthritis are rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is caused by general wear and tear of the joints, leading to damage of the joints and the surrounding tissue. The elderly are more susceptible, as are people who are overweight and those who repeatedly use the same joints. Symptoms generally include pain and swelling and ultimately an inability to use those joints.

Rheumatoid arthritis is the most common form of arthritis, affecting over two million people in the United States; around 70% of those are women. The exact cause of the disease is still not clear, although it's believed that rheumatoid arthritis can be triggered by various factors including inherited genes, female hormones, and the body's response to stress and a predisposition to infection.

Any of these factors can cause the body's immune system to perform poorly, and for the white blood cells to attack the membranes surrounding the joints, known as synovium. This breakdown of the immune system leads to inflammation and swelling of the joints; as anyone with arthritis will verify, it can be extremely painful and can cause permanent damage to the joints and even death.

There are various treatments available to help with the pain of arthritis. These range from an increased amount of rest, an improved diet, increased exercise, the application of heat and cold and even surgery in extreme cases. A wide range of medications are also available - most of these medications will simply relieve the pain, rather than actually cure the arthritis, although some medication can slow down the spread of the disease and prevent other parts of the body from being affected.

Many arthritis sufferers find some relief by using a supportive device, such as a brace, splint or arthritis knee brace. A brace works by supporting the weakened joint and taking some of the pressure off of it; literally allowing the joint to rest. Some such devices allow a little movement; others prevent all movement - it's important to use a brace or splint correctly otherwise it can actually cause more damage.

A rather odd, but supposedly effective cure for arthritis is deer velvet antler. Around 2,000 years ago, the Chinese first discovered the healing properties of the antler, not just for arthritis but a myriad of other ailments. Antler velvet is the name given to the growing stage of the antlers of male deer - used correctly, the nutrients found in antlers can help to relieve arthritis aches and pains. Antler velvet has been approved by the FDA; it is safe to use and has virtually no side effects.
Arthritis is arguably one of the worst things about aging. With the proper treatment, it needn't prevent you from enjoying life.

I got rid of my arthritis and arthritis pain forever by doing one single thing - read on. Getting rid of my arthritis pain, without drugs, was one of the best things that's ever happened to me. (...)

I got rid of my arthritis and arthritis pain forever by doing one single thing - read on. Getting rid of my arthritis pain, without drugs, was one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

Arthritis pain can be experienced whenever a stiff or swollen joint is used. The pain in arthritis can be moderate to severe. Arthritic joints appear to be larger, are stiff and painful, and usually feel worse the more they are used as the day progresses.

Cartilage contains a high percentage of water, but it decreases with age. It's important to learn plenty of facts about joints and arthritis to help you understand how to treat arthritis better. Cartilage contains chondrocytes, water, proteoglycans and collagen; chondrocytes are the basic cartilage cells and are necessary for balance and function.

As chondrocytes (the cells that make up cartilage) age, they lose their ability to make repairs and produce more cartilage; this process may play an important role in the development and progression of osteoarthritis. Injuries sometimes can be the start in the arthritic disease process; osteoarthritis can develop years later even after a single traumatic injury to a joint or near a joint.

An inflammatory response causes cytokines, to gather in injured areas and cause inflammation and damage to body tissue and cells; it's known to play a role in rheumatoid arthritis and other muscle and joint problems associated with autoimmune diseases.

For snacks, choose raw nuts without salt instead of lifeless roasted nuts. A study in Great Britain touted the beneficial effects of cod liver oil on osteoarthritis; relieving pain and stiffness, and reversing the destruction of joint cartilage within 24 hours. Not a food, but many, including one well-known professional golfer, still wear copper bracelets and swear by them.

Many arthritis sufferers have changed their diets and noticed significant or total improvement. Nutrition experts say it takes a combination of supplements, that no one supplement can relieve arthritis pain, build cartilage, etc. Studies done on antioxidant vitamins question the value of these supplements; it's clearly better to consume these antioxidants in living foods because they may also need to work with other nutrients present in the foods to work properly.

I know quite a few people who are drinking tart cherry juice to relieve their arthritis pain; has to the tart kind though. If you're not already doing so, make a big effort to watch your diet. One natural approach is to consume foods that are known to help relieve arthritis pain or prevent arthritis. For natural treatment for arthritis make an appointment with a naturopathic doctor, called a naturopath; ask around for referrals.

Use Taiji health balls, with the chimes, to strengthen the finger joints: hold two balls, move in a clockwise circle with your fingers to rotate them, then try counterclockwise and do throughout the day. To be on the safe side always seek your doctor's advice before starting or changing your exercise program. Important exercises for arthritis are range-of-motion exercises, isometrics, and some weight bearing exercises. Try to keep painful joint areas in motion, even in a limited manner.

Sign up for water aerobics classes at your local community center. Exercise your affected joints every day, to keep them flexible. Even the lightest exercise can go a long way to maintaining your joint mobility and overall health.

Conventional doctors may suggest the standard protocol for your joint pain; they tell you to take over-the-counter NSAIDS or prescribe COX-2 inhibitors, of which all have side effects. Be aware that the use of NSAIDs or Cox-2 inhibitors do not halt the progress of osteoarthritis and may even hasten the onset. For conventional treatment of arthritis - if you do choose to take drugs or medications, be very careful and read the labels thoroughly.

Arthritis pain relief is the ultimate goal - understanding arthritis is a good way to get there. I got rid of my arthritis pain years ago when I stopped eating dead food and changed my diet to all living foods; you can do it too. Begin your treatment program with a diet change, exercise and weight loss plan to see results and pain relief fast.

Rheumatoid arthritis treatment is a necessary yet complex process. There are many aspects that need to be taken into consideration in this fight against your own body. (...)

Rheumatoid arthritis treatment is a necessary yet complex process. There are many aspects that need to be taken into consideration in this fight against your own body. The first step is to see your doctor. There are several forms of arthritis, one of them being rheumatoid, that can lead to more serious complications including the inability to use your joint to its full function. What is important to know is that there are many rheumatoid arthritis treatment plans that can work for you and improve your overall well being, minimize your pain as well as slow the progression of the arthritis.

Standard Treatment Options For Arthritis

It is essential for you to seek out the help of your doctor. He or she will design a course of action to help treat your condition. Most of the time, this will include several types of medications. One of the first medications you will take includes a pain relief formula. Because arthritis is an inflammation of the joint's lining, medications can help to lessen the swelling that happens there. It will take a few tries to get the right dosage down, but pain relief can be found. In addition to this, your doctor is also likely to give you a medication that will slow the progression of arthritis. By telling your body to stop attacking itself, the medication can slow down how fast arthritis envelopes your joint completely. This is critical as the progression can cause devastating results if left untreated. The combination of medications is vitally important.

Alternatives Are Out There, Too

By either using these alternative methods in combination with the rheumatoid arthritis treatment that your doctor described or doing them alone, they can be helpful in relieving some or all of the pain associated with arthritis. Some of these treatments include massage, nutritional supplementation which usually includes the compounds of glucosamine and chondroitin, as well as homeopathy. In addition to these, acupuncture, wearing copper jewelry and magnets have been shown to help stimulate the healing within the body, including helping to relieve the pain caused by arthritis inflammation.

Should you consider these alternative therapies for the treatment of your arthritis? Some doctors do not believe that they can provide you with the help you need while others do. The ultimate decision will be yours to make but many find that these therapies can be expensive and may only provide a certain level of benefit to your overall health. On the other hand, there are some that believe that things like acupuncture really can stimulate the healing in your body including helping you to improve your overall experience with arthritis. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor and do more research about each option.

The most important thing for you to do in regards to rheumatoid arthritis treatment is to seek out the help of a qualified doctor or even a specialist in the field. From here, develop a plan that is all inclusive and tells you everything that you need to know to better your daily experience with arthritis.

It is amazing that the arthritis bracelet has become one of the most desirable methods of relief of arthritis pain. This considering the fact that there are a variety of ways to get this arthritis relief and the fact that not so very many people actually know of the arthritis bracelet and the benefits it can have on the alleviation of the arthritis symptoms.

Interesting Facts About the Arthritis Bracelet

There is an entire variety of facts to be known about the wondrous and sometimes misinterpreted arthritis bracelet. For one thing there is the fact that there is more than one kind of bracelet. One of the more popular types is the magnetic arthritis bracelet. In order to understand magnetic arthritis bracelets, you need to understand magnetic bracelets in general.

For a very long time using the magnetic bracelets did not have the reputation of being a bona fide method, but was rather looked upon as being folk medicine. People who used to use this method however were mostly satisfied with its capacities. Recent research has shown that in fact there is a place for the arthritis bracelet in the treatment of arthritis caused pain.

The growing success of alternative healing methods and alternative health care solutions in general has brought about it that many more people are consenting in trying out these alternative methods like magnetic therapy. The acceptance of the possibility that there is a beneficial effect in its use is now much greater than say 10 years ago.

So You Want An Arthritis Bracelet, Where to Find One?

Various places are at hand where one could go to find a magnetic arthritis bracelet or other forms of alternative arthritis therapy. One place I found to be a good call online would be the website of Witchcraft Supplies. Don't be put off by their name, they carry a broad and massive assortment of goods to cater to the need of people looking for alternative ways to treat arthritis pain.

There are of course cheaper ways to procure oneself an arthritis bracelet: go and take a look at Ebay for instance. And while purchasing a second hand one is not all bad, one might consider forking out a few bob more and get a brand new one, one that you can call your very own. Irrespective of what you choose: new or used, you are sure to recognize substantial amelioration very soon, sometimes even after just a day or two. It is well known that the effects of an arthritis magnetic bracelet are very fast to kick in.

To the sufferer of arthritis pains, many possible forms of treatment options are open with regard to the alleviation of arthritis. The arthritis bracelet is to be considered as one of the best options of them all.

Osteoarthritis is perhaps the fastest growing form of arthritis in the United States. According to the Arthritis Foundation, one third of all adult Americans have x-ray evidence of osteoarthritis. (...)

Osteoarthritis is perhaps the fastest growing form of arthritis in the United States. According to the Arthritis Foundation, one third of all adult Americans have x-ray evidence of osteoarthritis. Last year over 7 million visits to the doctor were osteoarthritis related which is second to cardiovascular disease in America. As we age this number is going to increase unless we take steps to stop arthritis. Over the years researchers have developed medications to help relieve pain but none have actually addressed the underlying cause of joint destruction. In this article we will take a look at the characteristics of osteoarthritis and the current treatments available. Also, we will look at natural alternatives that can help improve quality of life.

Osteoarthritis is a disorder that involves certain bones and joints in the body. A joint is where two bones are connected and made up of cartilage which is surrounded by muscles and tendons. Some joints have a limited range of motion such as a rib in the rib cage and others have a much wider range of movement like hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and thumbs. The wider ranges of motion joints are called synovial joints. (1) Synovial joints have a unique structure. The bones that are connected to synovial joints are cover in a tough fibrous tissue call cartilage. This tough cartilage tissue between the bones is called the joint capsule. The joint capsule has an inner cavity which is lined with an inner membrane called the synovial membrane. With in this membrane there is fluid called synovial fluid which is a thick, slippery fluid that fills the small places in between and around the two bones connecting. The fluid is filled with a substance that lubricates the joints and eases movement. (1,2)

This joint cartilage serves two purposes. First, it allows for a smooth surface to bear heavy weight and ease joint movement when in motion. Secondly, the joint cartilage absorbs shock and distributes the forces and mechanical stresses out to the bones connected to the joint.

Joint function is under continual mechanical stress while in motion and the joints ability to resist the stress reflects its health. If the mechanical stress becomes to much for the joint, some physical changes occur in the joint cartilage covering the bones. (1,2)

Cartilage is tough and some what elastic in nature comprised of water, collagen and complex proteins called proteoglycans. (3) When osteoarthritis has been diagnosed in a patient, the cartilage has started to weaken and become frayed. Over time the cartilage breaks down exposing the two bones of the joint. When two bones rub together all sorts of damage can happen. Bits of bone and cartilage break off and float around in the joint space. When the joint is bent, one usually experiences a gritty grinding feeling which is painful. Over time tiny bone spurs can grow into the cartilage and surrounding tissue causing a great deal of pain and decrease range of motion in the joint. As the arthritis progresses, the pain and discomfort will increase creating sleepless nights and miserable days.

Even though the exact cause of osteoarthritis is not known, researchers do know that it is not age related. Researchers have observed the disease having the same destructive changes in younger patients diagnosed which haven't been observed in older individuals who don't have the disease. (2,4,5) Researchers have observed that certain conditions do seem to trigger the disease or make it worse.

Families who have frequent occurrences of osteoarthritis tend to lean on the idea that it could be a genetic factor. Osteoarthritis of the hands is often seen as genetic. (2) People who are extremely active or have physically demanding jobs have a higher occurrence of developing osteoarthritis. Also, individuals who have certain bone disorders are prone to osteoarthritis as well. Individuals who are over weight are at risk. Because of the excess pounds, these individuals usually develop osteoarthritis in the knees and feet. Over weight individuals usually have denser bones which do not absorb as much shock as thinner bones might causing more damage to joint cartilage.

Currently there is no sure way to prevent osteoarthritis, but slowing the progression may help with some lifestyle changes. The arthritis foundation suggests individuals who are prone to osteoarthritis should maintain a healthy weight and loose weight if needed. They also suggest that these individuals should exercise on a regular basis as a preventative measure. (4) Consumption of Calcium and other vitamins such as vitamin A, C, D, and E can help as well. (6-8)

Treatment of osteoarthritis is usually focused around reducing or relieving the pain an individual experiences and maintain or improve the movement so to reduce any permanent disability. (2) Your Medical practitioner normally prescribes a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) such as aspirin or ibuprofen which is only effective in pain management. Sadly these NSAIDs have side effects which can be serious. NSAID induced gastrointestinal complications cause more than 100,000 hospitalizations and nearly 16,500 deaths each year in the United States. Long term use of NSAIDs can cause ulcers in the stomach and intestinal tract which product heartburn and abdominal pain. NSAIDs can interfere with blood clotting and even cause kidney damage. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is some times prescribed for pain relief, but acetaminophen does not reduce inflammation and have the same side effects as NSAIDs plus in large doses can cause liver damage. (9)

Newer medications released to the public are called COX-2 inhibitors which provide pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects with out the side effects of other NSAIDs. (11,12) In some cases, COX-2 inhibitors can cause stomach damage and bleeding. (13,14) All of these medications may help with the pain but does nothing to slow down or stop the osteoarthritis. This medication has no effect on the disease itself. (10)

After reviewing all the side effects from the medications available, some believe that Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin Sulfate are better for osteoarthritis because Glucosamine and Chondroitin actually improve synovial joint health without any life threatening side effects. (3)

Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate work so well as treatment for osteoarthritis that even physicians routinely recommend it. Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate are naturally occurring compounds found in human joints. (15,16) When consumed in the right combination can actually reverse the damage in joints affected by osteoarthritis. Glucosamine is a natural substance found in synovial fluid and is the basic building block of proteoglycans, one of the compounds in synovial cartilage. Europeans have been using Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfate for more than 10 years to help ease joint pain. Only in the past few years have researchers from American and Europe worked together to figure out how this works. Researchers discovered that Glucosamine sulfate reduces synovial joint inflammation which explains why people feel better after taking the supplement.

Scientific studies have discovered that Glucosamine sulfate can help stimulate cartilage cell growth, inhibit proteoglycans breakdown, and rebuild the damage done by osteoarthritis. (17,18) Glucosamine Sulfate not only helps your feel better but also repairs the damage that's all ready done. The only Glucosamine used in all the studies was Glucosamine sulfate. When the body digests Glucosamine sulfate the sulfate separates and forms a ion salt called a sulfate ion. This sulfate ion is critical for the body to synthesize proteoglycans. (17)

Researchers believe that Chondroitin sulfate works in a similar way to Glucosamine sulfate and should be consumed along with Glucosamine sulfate. Several studies investigated the action of Chondroitin sulfate and determined for best results one should take them both together. However, if your health care practitioner suggests taking only one or the other it is best that you follow your practitioners advice.

Other vitamins and minerals are beneficial to individuals suffering from osteoarthritis. Suck as, folic acid and B12 may increase joint mobility and vitamins A, C, D, and E may prevent the progression of the disease as well as prevent osteoarthritis all together. (8,19,20) Several clinical studies used the herb Boswellia serrata which help with swelling and yielded good results as well. Cayenne or capsaicin ointment can help elevate the pain associated with osteoarthritis. Cayenne pepper depletes the nerves of a neurotransmitter called substance P. This substance P transmits pain messages to the brain, so cayenne is very effective in relieving osteoarthritis pain.

Along with supplements, exercise is an important to help keeps joints mobile and healthy. For those suffering from osteoarthritis, water aerobics might be an option because it is low impact and gives one the ability to flex their joints with out applying much weight on the joints.

It is easy for those who don't feel well to self diagnose. If you suspect that you have a joint health issue, get evaluated by a licensed health care provider before taking any steps to get better on your own. Some of these same symptoms can be related to other illnesses which require different treatment. Only a health care provider can be certain one has osteoarthritis. With proper exercise and supplements one can reduce the constant stiffness and pain associated with osteoarthritis and this can lead to a healthier pain free life. All the supplements mentioned can be found at your local or internet health food store.

There is a little-known natural, diet solution to curing oneself of arthritis pain, which I discovered quite a few years ago. (...)

There is a little-known natural, diet solution to curing oneself of arthritis pain, which I discovered quite a few years ago. Arthritis sufferers today are still continually seeking relief from their arthritis pain. The first step when looking for solutions to an arthritis pain problem is to understand how arthritis works.

There are more than 100 different types of medical conditions that can affect your joints; it'll be difficult to treat your condition effectively unless you know exactly what your diagnosis is; get diagnosed. Arthritis is usually found in the joints of the fingers, feet, knees, hips, and spine.

Proteoglycans are large molecules that help make up cartilage; they bond to water, which ensures the high-fluid content in cartilage. The combination of the collagen meshwork and high water content tightly bound by proteoglycans creates a resilient, slippery pad in the joint, which resists the compression between bones during muscle movement. Collagen is the essential protein in cartilage; it forms a mesh to give support and flexibility to the joint.

As chondrocytes (the cells that make up cartilage) age, they lose their ability to make repairs and produce more cartilage; this process may play an important role in the development and progression of osteoarthritis. Most experts now believe that osteoarthritis results from a genetic susceptibility that causes a biologic response to injuries to the joint, which leads to progressive deterioration of cartilage.

Injuries sometimes can be the start in the arthritic disease process; osteoarthritis can develop years later even after a single traumatic injury to a joint or near a joint.

Some of the supplements commonly used for relieving arthritis pain, but I don't know if any of these work, are: glucosamine, chondroitin, bromelain, grapeseed extract, omega-3 and omega-6, cod liver oil, manganese ascorbate, MSM, boron, niacinamide, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E.

Studies done on antioxidant vitamins question the value of these supplements; it's clearly better to consume these antioxidants in living foods because they may also need to work with other nutrients present in the foods to work properly. Dried Montmorency tart cherries seem to be helpful for arthritis pain also.

Supplements that help any disease or ailment include vitamin B12 — the methylcobalamin type not cyanocobalamin, and has to be sub-lingual — dissolves slowly under the tongue; and vitamin D3 especially if you can't get a daily dose of 15-20 minutes of sun on your arms and legs so you can make your own vitamin D3.

Make smoothies with fruit only using a base of two bananas, adding a cup of frozen or fresh blueberries and mango chunks or substitute any other fruit and add an energy boost of two tablespoons of coconut oil; add one or two leaves of kale for another highly nutritional boost — no one will ever know. One natural treatment method involves avoiding all inflammatory foods.

With natural treatments there will be fewer, if any, side effects or adverse reactions. Nutrition experts say it takes a combination of supplements, that no one supplement can relieve arthritis pain, build cartilage, etc.

Try massaging your fingers or other affected joints with coconut oil twice a day. Not a food, but many, including one well-known professional golfer, still wear copper bracelets and swear by them.

For arthritic fingers, a good exercise is to put your finger tips together and press hard and release, then repeat several times. Don't just sit there, keep moving. Even if you don't think you can exercise, you can do some movements. Exercise in a heated pool; it will help reduce the pressure on your joints and the heat will help you loosen those joints.

Exercise your affected joints every day, to keep them flexible. Whatever you do, keep moving; don't sit when you can stand, don't stand when you can walk. A good exercise routine is the key to beating arthritis and arthritis pain.

At the very least, understand what the side effects and adverse reactions are for any drug you take. For conventional treatment of arthritis - if you do choose to take drugs or medications, be very careful and read the labels thoroughly. Let your doctor and pharmacist know about any other drugs, herbs or other supplements you're taking, to ward off any adverse drug reactions that might occur from the combining of different drugs or supplements.

More and more doctors are investigating the benefits of alternative therapies and most don't object to patients trying them. Stopping the progress of your arthritis as well as stopping your pain should be your number one goal. Begin your treatment program with a diet change, exercise and weight loss plan to see results and pain relief fast.

Always keep a regular check on your body, because any deviation can lead to temporary or permanent disability. (...)

Always keep a regular check on your body, because any deviation can lead to temporary or permanent disability. One of the common diseases that people are suffering from in the world today is arthritis. It occurs both in the old and the young, though the probability remains high in the elder people. It is also known to be a cause of disability with many people who are 65 and above. Therefore, if you feel any symptoms of arthritis in your body, immediately consult a good medical practitioner, who will guide you through this situation.

Arthritis is a condition in which there occurs inflammation in the joints of the bones. With due course of time, inflammation starts spreading and affects all the other nearby joints. This inflammation is accompanied by swelling and moderate to acute pain in the limbs. If these symptoms are not administered in time, the condition aggravates, leading to disability. The form of disability that crops up is the inability to move with comfort. And with age, the person becomes completely bed ridden.

There can be many reasons that can be attributed for arthritis as there are many types of arthritis affecting the different joints. The most common outcome of arthritis is acute pain with less mobility. Thus, it becomes important for you to bring down your arthritis suffering as soon as possible and thereby avoid disability. With revolutionized research in the field of medical science, several therapies have come up at your disposal that surely gives you relief from arthritis.

Of them the most effective and the newest in the line is water therapy. This therapy involves treatment with the help of aerobic exercises. And all this happens while your body is immersed in a swimming pool. Strange, isn't it? The reason behind this is very simple. The pain that comes along with arthritis will not allow exercising comfortably. But while being in water, the water pressure compensates the weight of your body. Therefore, you are in a position to exercise with ease.

Besides this, the contemporary method remains the use of drugs and prescribed medication to do away with arthritis and related disability. This is the last option when the pain becomes unbearable for you and you realize that slowly and steadily you are being pushed into the ambit of disability. So, consult a good physician who will recommend you a set of appropriate medicines that will help you fight disability due to arthritis.

Another common and very old method in relieving arthritis is heat therapy. Heat treatment involves infra red rays for the afflicted joints. This is predominantly a new age method. The old methods include the use of hot water bottles and the pip cushions. This is a miraculous treatment available for arthritis.
